Evil Eye(s)
I'm off to get my eyes tested today - I can't believe that this is happening. To me. I've always been the only one in the family with good eyes, and have been quite pleased about it, as there are plenty of other things about me that need fixing. Oh well, these things happen.
I have still been sewing hexagons, and have done a few more 4 patches. My sewing area looks like I have been VERY busy, but this is not the case. Each little pile has 10 3 inch finished 4 patches, and I have 14 now. I will have to work out how many I need soon, but I imagine I am nowhere near the end.

wow your sewing area is much neater than mine LOL. I love the new 4 patches in soft colours too.
ReplyDeleteWow, you've got a huge pile of four patches there ... you must be getting close?
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with your eyes.
*hugs*

Good wishes for you eye test. When I finally broke down and got mine tested and got reading glasses, it really changed my days and especially evenings for the better *s*
ReplyDeleteGood eyes is a need for our sewing. I got my reading glasses a couple of years ago and have had to change them two times since then. When you reach a certain age.....everybody teases me LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
Good luck with the eye exam. Those four patches look great! Can't wait to see them come together.
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite - I can't see distance but can close up really well. It sure makes doing things while watching ( rather listening) television rather difficult because my eyes don't adjust. Can't wait to see what you are going to do with your 4 patches.
ReplyDelete4 hexagons and 14 four patches are a lot, especially if they are scrappy. They look great.
ReplyDeleteWhen I turned 40, it seemed like I instantly became "old." My doctor started talking about mammograms, my optomotrist started talking about bifocals, both of them and my chiropractor (just had an accident) said "at your age...".
My daughter said I am decomposing.
How did the eye exam go?
