thin! - doesn't overpower the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteJodie
thin is in!! at least as far as sashing strips is concerned. LOL
ReplyDeleteI prefer the thin, too. That way the strips just 'accent' your main fabrics. When they're thicker they 'compete' for equal attention.
ReplyDeleteJeanne :)
Count me as thin -- well, my vote anyway *s*
ReplyDeleteThin!
ReplyDeleteThin!
ReplyDeleteThin!!
ReplyDeleteI agree - I prefer the thin strips.
ReplyDeletethin is in... hehe
ReplyDeleteI like the thin strips too....Then I read everyone else post.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the thin strips look now, but will they get even thinner once they're sewn? or have you already covered up the seam allowances. I don't think I'd like them if they lost another half-inch...
ReplyDeleteIt has to be thin stripes. That was the most pleasant look.
ReplyDeleteThin it is then. The strips in the photo have the seam allowance already folded under. Any thoughts on how to get it together with all the strips straight? (LOL)
ReplyDeleteI like the thin.
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought thin and then read the comments!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is unanimous. Thin gets the vote!
ReplyDeleteOh boy -- definitely very thin -- your sashing strip color choice is a surprise .. but then you are going for something unusual -- I would have done something expected and boring like .... plain white ... 8-) Putting it together -- I see some "units" that can go together first, either with or without the sashing, that will butt up to the other units WITH sashing. Love those blue/green fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThe thin is much better - it allows the other fabrics to take the prominent role. I see to much of the strip fabrics in the wide choice.
ReplyDeleteNo fence sitting - LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for THIN .... the thick stripes draw more attention than the actual fabric.
Dianne (friend of heaven to bettsy) Go the thin too. looks great and put it together is sectors to make panels that are the same size. This can be a combination of vertical and horizontal. Whatever fits.
ReplyDeleteIMHO - I prefer the thin ... looks like others like it too! The orange is a great zinger, good call!
ReplyDelete*hugs*

Thin! In 2 fabrics.
ReplyDeleteNow, I have just read all the other comments, & see we are of one mind!
Unanimous. I agree thin enhances the other fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThin---Thin---Thin..............I don't think you would dare do anything else after reading the poll results.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late - I vote for thin. The fabrics look beautiful, Jenni!
ReplyDeleteI think I like the thin. I hope you don't waste to much fabric changing to thin. I looks like you have already cut the strips fat.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, pretty fabric! You've visited me and left a comment but as a dumb newbie, I've just figured out I need to go to your blog and post back! Sorry! It's so much fun reading everyone's blogs and seeing their projects. And I'd love to visit your country one day.
ReplyDeleteHow big are your seams?
ReplyDeleteIf not too big, then thin!!
oh just read that seam allowances are already folded under.
ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY THIN!!
THIN! (Is that a pattern?)
