Quick Post
This is my first post from my new baby - it isn't that easy typing while lying on your stomach in bed I've discovered! Here's hoping it works. I have had some technical support from the router people today and all is well I think.
Heavens to Bettsy emailed me and said she couldn't leave a comment on my last post - I went in and had a look and found that I couldn't either, but that I had also had the same error message yesterday when trying to post a comment on someone else's blog. Is it me or Blogger? One wonders whether blogger is not coping and worse is to come.
At work last night I discovered 2 quilters - quite exciting. Monique said she is a fairly new quilter but just loves the fabric and would like to be a fabric designer (she'll do), and Helen the ward clerk is right into it. So we are doing a bit of show and tell tonight and each taking in some books for the others to look at. Quilters are lurking everywhere. We need a secret handshake I think.
Otherwise the only exciting thing that has happened here is that we have had some good rain, which if you are an Aussie you will know how big that is. In some neaby rural areas it is the first good rain since 1999, and has probably saved a lot of stock, farms and farmers.
Better go back to bed and try and catch a bit more sleep for tonight. Days off after tonight so hopefully I will get some sewing done.
so glad you were able to get some rain up North. I can't remember when we had any decent amount of rain here in the South.

ReplyDeleteloving the rain although I forgot to bring in the towels off the line. I don't think it is just you with blogger because I also couldn't post on another one either. So breathe a sigh of relief - it may have just had something to do with the time the posts were made.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like old blogger and beta blogger are still not talking to each other. If you are trying to leave a comment on a beta blog then you will get an error message unless you choose "anonymous". There are quite a few blogs like that - I just comment away then sign my name on the end of the comment.

Blogger is definitely doing weird things. I was wondering what happened to the picture of your new laptop.
ReplyDeleteNice to find people at work to quilt with. I have a friend at work I started down her quilting journey and now she is a quilting madwoman - puts me to shame.
Glad you got some rain, the family in Brisane have been complaining about water restrictions too.I loved seeing all the pictures of the houses in your other posts - thanks.
