Cheryl's Idea

Thanks go to Cheryl for the idea for the blog banner. I've thought before about doing one, but have never found a photo I like. I had this idea of making this really long piece of fairybread, but then I'd have to eat it.

I'll try it on for size for a while and see how if fits. It's very bright.

    try bolding the writing to make it stand out more..........love the blocks.....love the diamond effect.....

    Picks up the colors on the photo of the fairybread! Very nice. I've been thinking of putting a photo in my banner, too, but haven't figured out what. You've inspired me to work on it!

    The new banner is great! I think the string blocks with the bright fabric is fabulous. I agree it's better than sitting on your wall as an unfinished Japanese quilt :))

    love the banner, Jenni -- but how do you do it? I can get the photo, and I think I can put words on top of the photo, but I can't get rid of the "separate" words that Blogger has for my header...

    I LOVE the banner! The string blocks match the sprinkles (I forget what you call them) in your fairy bread! Well done!! Those blocks are so stunning that I just might have to get some of those colors to play with.
