Anxieties
Check this block out. Don't you like the name? As good as Death Penalty from my last post. Anxieties are what I'll be having working this one out. Those stripes are very thin. It's a 6 inch block.
As for Blogger, I tried a number of times to do the word verification thing and it still wouldn't come up. I don't know if you've noticed, but Quilt Junkie has gone over to Typepad under a new name Thee Handworks, so I'll be watching with interest. I also notice that some of the really nice blogs I look at are Typepad blogs, like Soulemama and Posy Gets Cosy, and you never see them complaining about blog problems. I had a look and it's US$50 per year...
Otherwise, off to bed for me. The aircon man came and fixed the machine. At 4 pm I went to turn it on and grab a few hours sleep before work, and guess what? The power went out! Aah you gotta laugh!

You know how I'd piece that block? With striped fabric! It would give the same effect with way less hassle!
ReplyDeletePatti - whose sign isn't being recognized
I agree with you about blogger - it has some issues I hope they work out soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks - is that the way the book works - just a small colour block and you make the pattern from the block? Have you decided how you are going to do it yet? Tazzie has been putting up some great links for how to do it. Nice and relaxing to sew them together by hand. I have developed a bit of a system with my Dear Jane. But I still think it will take me 10 years.
Livejournal, where I am, is $20/yr. and I don't have the posting problems, or photo upload problems, either. I thought changing to beta would make it easier, but it's only made it more complicated than before!
ReplyDeleteIs that why it is called Anxiety LOL! I'm not having any serious problems with Beta, apart from having to change my template. I actually prefer it - it saves all the HTML hassle.
ReplyDeleteLove the names of the blocks!!
ReplyDeleteNot having any blogger (BETA) problems here - when I have a glitch, switching browsers always works for me. (from Firefox to Explorer or vice versa)
Not willing to invest $50 - would rather buy fabric!!
I use Typepad for my work blog and it all goes together very well for $90US a year.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is working much better for me with the combination of Beta and Firefox. No photo posting problems in some time.
BTW that block is INSANE.
try to publish your comment and you should then get the letters to verify. i've had this happen in the past and that seems to work. it's like the letter verification is on vacation or something.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is having BLOGGER ANXIETY!!
Ha! I agree with Patti :)
ReplyDeleteAnd oh no you can't be serious about the power going off! No fair!
